EVERYONE loves a bank holiday weekend, especially when it is good weather and in Southport, on Bank Holiday Monday, 26 August 2019 the Town Center was packed out. As a result, the Ship and Anchor Pub, on Cable Street's event was extremely well attended. The event was dedicated to Kelly Heybourne, who sadly died last month. The event had raffle, a sponging session and waxing on in order to rise money and promote organ donation. With lots of high jinx and live music, they managed to raise ₤380 at the charity event that ran from 3pm to 11pm.

"Some of the money raised at the event will go towards a beautiful memorial she deserves, as well as promoting the importance of organ donation. We would like to thank everyone who attended and donated. She would have been made up." said Kelly's family. These are some of the photographs we took and a bit of video at the charity event.
