Juncstock 2019

THE Junction Pub , in Rainford, Merseyside, held a charity event over 24 August to 25 August 2019. We don't often get over that way, but we had to pop over. This event had free camping as well as live music, trade stands, auto jumble, classic bikes and cars, model aircraft displays, plus more. Despite being held unintentionally on the same weekend as Ormskirk's 9th Motorfest, that was held on the Sunday, just up the road, this event proved to be a success. Plus, if you where cheesed off, well you could get cheese from a stall called Cheesed Off… Very fitting as the event was raising money for the mental health charity Mind. "The event was put on as a tribute to our James, who we sadly lost this year. James was car mad so his car and truck, so we thought this would be a fantastic way to raise funds and remember him." said the Landlord Paul Draper.

On a slightly off topic note, did you know that The Junction pub have become is the 1st public house within both Merseyside and Lancashire to provide free electric vehicle charge points for customers?
