THIS is Part 2 of our photographic coverage of the Formby Christmas Lights Switch-On, that was held on 24 November 2019.  This years event was held on the 24 November 2019, as normal attracted large crowds, who flocked into the village to see the display get turned on. With live entertainment, a festive market and many of the villages local businesses taking part, this was a fantastic event for the family. Well done to all who took part in this years event. Turning on the lights was a truly inspirational local sporting personality, Invictus games Gold Medal Winner, Alex Krol, who is a former Royal Marine and won gold in the tennis doubles, in the 2017 Invictus games. Joining him was Finley Unsworth, Miss Liverpool City Region 2019 along with radio presenter, Josef Hollywood and Claire Simmo. Sadly his year, Father Christmas as blocked in by the Fun Fair, at the far end of the Village, so could not get over in time to join them. We would love to hear your thoughts about this years event.
