Dozens of tractors will once again take over the streets of Liverpool this Christmas!
Photographs by Paul Foster.

A parade of festively decorated tractors, covered in lights and tinsel, will once again take over the streets of Liverpool to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and bring some Christmas cheer to Merseyside. The route will be similar to last year’s and will be held on 19 December 2021, beginning at Tarbock Green, at around 4.30pm. All spaces in the parade have been taken, as this years event is limited to 100 tractors only, so only those signed up and confirmed can take part. But please do pop out and show your support for them and also if you can, make a donation along the way.

For more information please go to:- AlderHeyCharity.Org. On a side note, the founder of the Christmas tractor convoy is local farmer, Olly Harrison, who was inspired by a similar event that took place on the Isle of Man. It raised more than ₤43,000 for Alder Hey last year and he hopes it will bring in far more this year! To donate, please go to:- JustGiving.Com.

Photos and you can see more photos taken by Paul Frost at the event last year, on his Flickr account.

Award winning singer and Rock Choir founder to visit Southport

CAROLINE Redman Lusher, award wining singer and creator of the world's largest contemporary choir will be visiting Southport, on Monday, 6 December 2021, from 8pm to 9:30pm, at the Cedar Room. Rock Choir Members are so excited to be back to physical rehearsals so this will be a very special visit for them as it's the 1st time she has been out to see her members since the Pandemic began. Caroline built Rock Choir up from 100 members in her home Town, back in 2005, to now over 33,000 Members across the UK! Rockies from the Southport, Liverpool, West Kirkby and Ormskirk choirs are very excited about Caroline visiting as the last time many would have seen her in person is when she sang lead vocals on the huge Radio 2 stage at the BBC Proms in the park concert in Hyde Park to 40,000 people! Caroline and her Rock Choir Leaders did the opening set and thousands of Rockies from all over the country, including members from the local choirs came along and performed as a secret flash mob in the crowd, whist Caroline performed on the main stage. It is also worth adding that if you are looking for a stocking filler, Caroline is also promoting Rock Choir's new Christmas Single, which is released on Friday, 3 December 2021.
