Deliveroo reveals Southport's top take-a-ways…

DELIVEROO, the on demand food delivery service, is celebrating its 6th birthday in Southport. New data from Deliveroo reveals locals love American food the most, with the Boneless Banquet from KFC being the most popular dish in the Town. Saturday at 7:15pm is the most popular time for Southport locals to order Deliveroo. The most popular dishes ordered in Southport are:-

  Boneless Banquet from KFC.

  Cod from The Fryery.

  Large Meal Deal from Subway.

Breakfast Wrap from Holmes-Smith Quality Butcher.

Cookie Dough from The Milk Room.

Since its launch in the Town 6 years ago, more than 70 restaurants have signed up to the platform. Deliveroo has created work for more than 110 people, with the majority of these being the Deliveroo riders who deliver your food which is cooked fresh to order and delivered to your door within 30 minutes. Deliveroo supports local businesses in Southport, with 60% of its restaurant partners being local independent restaurants, creating new revenue streams for homegrown culinary talent.

Ben Lacey, Regional Director for the UK North said:- "Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Southport over the past 6 years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well paid, flexible work."

Deliveroo is focused on providing the ultimate food delivery experience. Customers have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to 1 day in advance or receive food as soon as possible between noon and 11pm, and from noon on the weekends, from a variety of leading local, independent and best loved chain restaurants, conveniently delivered to their homes and offices.

Interestingly, Deliveroo still hasn't responded with a statement on how they will be tackling riders who are cycling on pavements and at night without lights on bikes. Your views please on this to:- News24@SouthportReporter.Com.
