Southport Flower Show 2022 - Part 2 of 2

THE Southport Flower Show was held over 18 August to 21 August 2022, on Victoria Park, Southport. After a 2 year gap, due to Covid Restrictions in the UK, the event was highly anticipated, but the effects of Covid19 still had an effect. Sadly, the unusual weather has affected the show, a we could see lots of the groups, who would normally be exhibiting at the event, no longer exhibiting.  Some hope to come back again in 2023, but others have stopped, as they are no longer trading, or just cant afford to exhibit anymore. Saying that, this years event was fantastic as this change of those attending offered huge opportunities to make changes to the show, from the layout through to even making things far more disabled friendly. In fact we fully enjoyed the show, and it still had lots to see and do. We have also got so many fantastic photos, we are doing the unusual thing of adding even more to next weeks edition as a bonus... Just to wet your appetite for the show in 2023, as we are told next year will be BIGGER and BETTER again! But, the 2022 will be hard to beat for the amazing atmosphere, even when it was wet.
