AINSDALE Village played host to a free community event, on Sunday, 4 September 2022, marking the end of the Summer Holiday's. Performing at the event were:- Singer Songwriter Ian Cleverdon, 'Old Enough 2 Know Better' The band ‘Old Enough 2 Know Better,’ Phil Morris, Acoustic, Americana, Folk & Blues, Sixties and Nostalgia, Joanne Louise Griffiths, and also Lola and Celeste. Formby Live 2022

THE 1st Formby Live event was held on the grounds of Formby Pool, on Elbow Lane, under brilliant blue skies, over 27 August and 28 August 2022. The event was very well attended and had live music provided by the Mersey Cats, a bar, rises and bouncy castle. the show even had the newly formed Formby Pool Dancers entertaining the crowds and group of Ukrainian guests, who worked really hard providing fab food. Further live musical performances also took plce in Chapel Lane (Village) and in the participating cafes and bars all weekend! After the event the Formby Pool Trust said:- "A really big thank you to all concerned! Everyone did an amazing job of keeping the event going and what am event it was!"
