Southport Classic and speed 2022 - Extended Coverage

WE have held back out full coverage of this event due to the passing of the Queen.  These are more photographs taken at Southport's Classic and Speed weekend, at was held over 10 September to 11 September 2022.  The event started on the Saturday with a Sprint Revival Demonstration that was held on the Marine Drive, and then on the Sunday, the event moved onto Victoria Park, for the Classic and Speed Sunday, ending on the Sunday with a parade though the Town Centre. This fantastic event was free and was celebrating over a century of motoring history within Sefton. Sadly, due to the death of the Queen, celebrations where muted and on both days, a 2 minuet silence was observed as well as other activities used to mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Her lifetime of service to our nation.  Organisers said publicly:- "We are deeply saddened by news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II after a lifetime of service. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family."
