Mad Dog 10K 2023

AS normal, the Southport Mad Dog 10K was extremely well attended and very well organised fun run, attracting people from all over the North West. All those taking part at the run, on 19 March 2023, helped to raise cash for charities and also had some fun at the same time. This year's event started and finished at the side of Stanley High School, with the course taking in the sea front, and also the Marine Lake. As normal, the event displayed lots of fun costumes along with some very fit 4 legged companions. Along the route, the runners were entertained by Batala Mersey, along with other entertainment, some planned and some spontaneous. Following the event, the organises said:- "We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the charities, clubs and individuals who've helped out today, the race wouldn't have taken place without you and we really appreciate it. Hopefully everyone who took part enjoyed the event and we look forward to hopefully seeing you all next year."
