MINDGAMES Southport are currently holding a competition to win 2 x 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzles. The 1st is a Wasgij Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle called:- 'Eurosound Contest' and the other is a Jan Van Haasteren Eurosong. To enter go to:- MindGamesSouthport.Co.UK. Offer closes 10am, on the Day of the Final (13/05/23)

It's the most hotly anticipated game of hide and seek around with the ultimate Eurovision prize

DETAILS have been released about how people can be part of Spot Sonia; a real life game of Where's Wally; but instead of hunting down a bespectacled, jumper wearer, players are on the lookout for images of Liverpool and Eurovision legend Sonia. And the prize for finding all the hidden images of Sonia around the City Centre? A pair of tickets to the sold out Eurovision Grand Final, on:- Saturday, 13 May 2023, at Liverpool Arena.

Sonia said:- "When I 1st heard about Spot Sonia I thought it was brilliant and typically Liverpool; we love to have fun in this City and this surreal game certainly ticks that box and has a great Eurovision feel to it. But don't expect me to be able to give anyone any top tips; the locations are being kept top secret, even from me, so I've no idea where my face will be popping up! Good luck to everyone taking part."

The game itself takes place on:- Friday, 12 May 2023, from 11am, and here's how it will work:-

• Players need to register on the Visit Liverpool website in advance to take part... Deadline is:- 9am, on:- Friday, 12 May 2023.

• Those taking part will need to follow Visit Liverpool on socials:- Facebook Twitter, and on Instagram.

• On 12 May 2023, clues will be released on social media which will lead people to a location where an image of Sonia will be waiting.

• When each clue is revealed, the seekers have 90 minutes to find each location and take a selfie with the image before the next clue is released

• Each image needs to be posted on social media, tagging in Visit Liverpool with #SpotSonia.

• Once all four clues have been completed, the players still in the game will be given a final secret location.

• The 1st 10 people to arrive at that location, with all their selfies to hand, will take part in 1 final task. The winner will be awarded two of the most sought after tickets around.

Players must be 18 or over.

The idea formed part of Liverpool's original bid, and the cheeky Scouse twist on a classic game proved to be a big hit with the judges making the decision on who would host the competition in 2023.

Director of Culture Liverpool, Claire McColgan CBE, said:- "This feels like our biggest announcement yet and on behalf of myself and my email inbox I am delighted we have finally gone out with our Spot Sonia details! In 2008 when I was involved in European Capital of Culture, all anyone wanted to talk to me about was Paul McCartney, and this time all roads lead to Sonia! I love how there is always 1 idea or project that people really embrace and it feel like this is definitely one of them during our Eurovision journey. Spot Sonia was one of the very early concepts we developed as part of our bid and it has really captured imaginations; the judges loved it, and it's safe to say it was one of the many things that helped us stand out from other bidding cities. I don't think anyone will look back on Eurovision 2023 and think that Liverpool didn't throw everything at it. With everything we've programmed as a host City we're really running the whole gamut of emotions; from really powerful impact art installations and inclusive and diverse programmes involving people of all ages right through to wacky and quirky projects like Spot Sonia, we've got it covered! With final tickets up for grabs it's going to be massively popular; I just hope that wherever that final location is, they are prepared to greet hordes of very excitable fans!"

Number of repeat prescriptions ordered via NHS App up by 92% in 2022

MORE than 500,000 repeat prescriptions are now booked through the NHS App every week. New figures released by NHS England show that since the NHS App's launch in December 2018, more than 42 million repeat prescriptions have been ordered through the app.

Last month alone, the NHS App enabled 2.4 million repeat prescriptions to be ordered compared with 1.7 million in April 2022 and 393,000 in April 2021.

Year on year, numbers have increased by 92% from 13 million repeat prescriptions ordered via the app in:- 2021/22 to 25 million in 2022/23.

The increase comes ahead of the NHS 75th milestone birthday on:- 5 July 2023, where the achievements and innovations of the NHS and its staff are being celebrated.

Patients across England are being reminded of the benefits of using the NHS App to order repeat prescriptions ahead of the upcoming bank holidays in May.

Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England David Webb said:- "With 2 more long weekends coming up in May, we are reminding people of the excellent benefits of the NHS App. Patients can order repeat prescriptions through the app at a time and date convenient to them and access community pharmacy information about local healthcare advice and services available during the bank holidays. The NHS has always innovated and adapted to meet the needs of each generation and as we approach the NHS 75th birthday, the NHS App is yet another fantastic example of how we are doing this. The app offers a digital front door for interacting with the NHS with a host of new features launched in the last year empowering patients to access services from the comfort of their homes. As ever, if you need care during the bank holiday weekend, come forward; using:- 999 in life threatening emergencies and NHS 111 online for other health concerns."

Some of the features available on the NHS App enable patients to view their GP health record, nominate their preferred Pharmacy, find local NHS services and get health advice via 111 online.

New and innovative features continue to be rolled out to help patients access convenient and high quality care when and where they need it. Patients in many parts of the country are now able to view and manage their Hospital appointments on the app1, and many GP practices are now sending NHS App notifications to patients with appointment reminders and other messages relating to their care.

Health and Social Care Secretary Steve Barclay said:- "Technology is transforming the way we deliver healthcare for patients, and I'm determined that the NHS App plays a vital role in this. Repeat prescription orders through the app have increased by 92% in the last year; including:- 2.4 million in last month alone. This is freeing up valuable time for clinicians and helping people access services easily and conveniently from the comfort of their own homes. A host of new innovative features have also been rolled out; from viewing GP records to finding local health services; offering a digital front door to the NHS."

The NHS App has now recorded more than 32 million sign ups (as of April 2023).

More than 28 million of these have fully verified their identity through NHS login, which means they can now access a variety of digital healthcare services quickly and securely through the NHS App.
