Coastguard and Merseyside Water Rescue at Eurovision

OFTEN you go to event and you do not see the hidden work taking place to keep us safe and this is the case at Eurovision. Many of you would think about security, Fire, Ambulance and Police, but what about on the water? Eurovision is not on the water, so why worry? Well, as we have deep docks and a fast flowing river, if anyone did manager to somehow fall in, volunteers from the charity Merseyside Water Rescue are at hand along with the the HR Coastguard. Please do say hi to them, if safe to do so, when passing as they are doing an amazing job and are often overlooked!  In am emergency all ways dial 999 and if water related ask for Coastguard.

Liverpool City Collage have been performing to crowds at Eurovision

STUDENTS from Liverpool City Collage have been performing on the floating stage at the Albert Dock to entertain people, with thans to the Canal and River Trust, as Eurovision gears up.
