Hightown Pub celebrates the Coronation ON the Coronation Bank Holiday Monday. 8 May 2023, the village pub was to hold a big community event outside, but due to the bad weather, this was unable to take place. However they did manage to run a few fantastic things going on inside. Inside they had a stand by the Royal British Legion as well as free gift bags for all the children, along with flags. Plus they also had a magician who entertained the kinds and also, more importantly the adults. They also did a few other activities thought the day. We are told that no matter what the weather is like for the Eurovision finals, that event will not be effected. Already they have an amazing line-up, with a British Eurovision Song Contest who made it to the short list for selection performing, plus a large contingency of Ukrainians performing, and even Ukrainian Food on offer thought the day! The evening will also have some amazing things going on. Plus, they are being filmed this week for Eurovision, so do pop in, as you never know what is going on this week at the venue!
