MORE 80 Anniversary Battle of the Atlantic Commemoration event photos.  This historic event was held over:- 26 May to 28 May 2023, with  Liverpool again played host national and international formal and personal commemorations. In total over 65,000 Allied and merchant seaman; including children; died as 5,000 British and Allied ships were sunk during the campaign that ran from:- 1939 to the defeat of Nazi Germany in:- 1945.  We must never forget the sacrifice of all those who gave their lives to help keep the country functioning over the Second World War.
