Fitton Estates in Southport is launching a new Commercial Property Management arm

THE new service is being provided following regular requests from existing clients. Fitton Estates, which has an office on:- Hoghton Street, in Southport Town Centre, has forged an impressive reputation over the past 30 years.

The firm is a blend of experienced Commercial Property Consultants and Chartered Surveyors offering a professional agency, RICS valuations, development and property consultancy throughout Sefton and West Lancashire and beyond.

As an RICS regulated firm customers and clients know they can trust an organisation which is qualified, professional, established and local.

Fitton Estates Director Graham Bowling MRICS said:- "For many years, a number of clients have asked us if we could provide a commercial property management service. It is a service which complements perfectly what we already offer to our existing and new client base. It will operate as a separate company but within our group, run by my fellow Directors Cerys Davies, Nigel Little MRICS and myself. We are trying to differentiate our Property Management offer to solely that of commercial property which is very niche, but also a sector where we have vast experience and we are uniquely qualified to do as an RICS practice. We are now very keen to convey the news and let local business owners know about the brand new service which we can now offer. Fitton Estates has been established for over 30 years and I believe we are recognised as the go to practise for commercial, development, RICS valuations and non standard residential property matters, where we work exclusively in the area across Sefton and West Lancashire. This is a new venture for us however it now makes us very much a 1 stop shop for commercial property in this area."

Fitton Estates Commercial Property Consultant Cerys Davies said:- "We want to make sure that people know that we are specialists in the commercial property market. Clients have been asking for us to offer this new service and it would be remiss for us not to. We have now invested into bespoke Commercial Property Management software and through adopting the same set procedures as we do with our agency and RICS valuation instructions, will be able to offer a thorough and transparent service to our landlord clients."

Fitton Estates combines a qualified approach with extensive experience and deep set local knowledge.

The agency practice extends to the retail, office, warehouse/industrial and leisure markets.

Fitton Estates also has vast experience in marketing residential and commercial investments, developments / refurbishment / conversion opportunities, land and rural properties.

As agents their mandate is always the same; maximising value and saleability, with a considered outlook to prevailing conditions and market sensitivity.

Liverpool Makes Post War Pledge to Odesa to Cement Eurovision Legacy

LIVERPOOL and the Ukrainian City of Odesa are preparing to sign a historic Memorandum of Understanding. This new development will continue to cement the bond of friendship between Liverpool and its sister City Odesa, as part of the Eurovision legacy. The new commitment will ensure that the 2 cities work closely together when Odesa begins to rebuild its cultural infrastructure, when the war is over.

A short Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be drawn up in the coming weeks which will detail how Liverpool's cultural sector will come together to advise and support the renewal of Odesa's cultural institutions. Consideration will also be given to developing a programme which will see a cultural exchange of artistic talent and expertise, as well as plans to build on the existing library twinning agreement.

In April, Liverpool's Central Library was formally twinned with Odesa Region al Scientific Library in an historic ceremony attended by His Majesty The King and The Queen Consort, and the 1st Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.

The event marked the official start of the build up to the Eurovision Song Contest, which Liverpool staged on behalf of Ukraine and is widely considered the most successful ever.

Now, the relationship between the sister cities is set to be further strengthened with Liverpool utilising its exceptional cultural links to help with the future rebuilding of the Ukrainian Popr City.

The creation of the MoU has been developed following a meeting with Liverpool City Council Leader, Councillor Liam Robinson, Chief Executive Andrew Lewis, Director of Culture Liverpool Claire McColgan and representatives from Odesa City Council's Department for Culture, International Relations and European Integration.

In an additional show of solidarity, the Ukraine flag was flown from civic buildings:- Liverpool Town Hall, St George's Hall and Cunard Building; on 2 September 2023, to mark the 229th Anniversary of the founding of Odesa.

The City of Liverpool and the City of Odesa's long standing relationship extends back to 1957 when the 2 cities were officially twinned.

Leader of Liverpool City Council, Councillor Liam Robinson, said:- "The strengthening of this relationship is 1 of the most important legacies of Eurovision. We are incredibly proud to be approached to play a role in the rebuilding of the cultural fabric of Odesa, and we hope that we will be able to begin this new journey in our Twin City partnership in the very near future. Although this is at a very early stage, the initial conversations are very encouraging and we are keen to do as much as we can to contribute to the renewal of their cultural sector, and in doing so demonstrate to the people of Ukraine that they remain in our hearts."

Mayor of the City of Odesa, Mr Gennadiy Trukhanov, said:- "The leadership of our City is making every effort to work with our sister cities and international partners to restore the historical centre of Odesa. The sistership of Odesa and Liverpool, which dates back more than 65 years, has passed the test of time and always had a special character. We cannot highlight our gratitude to Liverpool enough; the City's solidarity means so much to the Ukrainian people and we are ready to co operate and implement projects which will benefit our citizens and contribute to the development of our City."
