Dilyana's Genuine Love for Learning Leads to GCSE Triumph

DILYANA Staneva, a dedicated cleaning operative at Hugh Baird College and a proud resident of Bootle for almost a decade, has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to lifelong learning by obtaining a grade 9 in her GCSE Mathematics examination; the highest achievable grade. This impressive achievement was driven not by career ambitions, but rather by her genuine love for the subject and a thirst for knowledge.

Dilyana, who originally hails from Bulgaria, relocated to the UK 10 years ago, motivated by her husband's professional commitments. While she has previously showcased her dedication to learning with an Electrical Installation Level 3 qualification, her latest accomplishment underscores her diverse range of talents and interests.

Speaking about her achievement, Dilyana expressed deep gratitude for the guidance she received throughout her academic journey, stating:- "I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my tutors, Adele and Suzanne. Their unwavering support and encouragement over the past year have been instrumental in this achievement."

Dilyana's quest for knowledge doesn't stop here. She has already set her sights on her next academic challenge:- "I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter of my academic journey by enrolling in GCSE English, at Hugh Baird College, in the upcoming academic year."

This story stands as a testament to the idea that passion and dedication can drive personal growth at any stage of life. The College community is immensely proud of Dilyana's achievements and is confident that she will continue to inspire many with her dedication to learning.
