'Day of the Dead 2023' at Southport Pleasureland

BRINGING the season to a close at Southport Pleasureland was the annual:- 'Day of the Dead' spectacular. 3 nights of added fun at the Town's amusement park, with drummers, fire eaters, Mexican Dances, live music and much, much more... Plus a fantastic Firework Extravaganza at the end of each night!

With the event running from:- 3 November to 5 November 2023, their is always a chance the weather might not be at its best, Sadly, that was the case this year, as the weather was definitely not at its best, but the show still went on, and all those who attended appeared to enjoy not only the attractions rides and stalls, but also the extra entertainment that was on offer.

As with the previous:- 'Day of the Dead' events that the park has held, this years aimed to give a flavour of Mexico, and create a fabulous fiesta atmosphere. Considering the conditions, we think they did a fantastic job at achieving this.

Well done to the Gambolling Arena Theatre Company and G-Models performers, who braved the wet conditions to deliver a brilliant show.
