Hightown St Mary's Cricket Club's 5th November Firework Display

ON 5 November 2023, the Hightown St Mary's Cricket Club put on an spectacular display to a field packed out with families, many of whom travelled from all over the area. This event was a sell-out and it had lots to do doe all those attending. The atmosphere was fantastic, despite the rain trying suspense and enjoyment of those outside. But with the lighting of the Bonfire, the rain vanished until the fireworks finished. This show not have fireworks, but they also got a surprise as Bring the Fire Project preformed not 1 but 2 displays of fire dancing, much to the entertainment of the crowds. Even those who could not get tickets and headed down Thirlmere Road, just to watch the fireworks from a distance also said it was amazing.
