Botanic Gardens Christmas Fete 2023

ON 19 November 2023, the Botanic Gardens Community Association Charity held the groups Christmas Fete. Sadly, the weather was extremely wet, but lucky for Santa, the Christmas Grotto was held within the Gardens historic Victorian Fernery. Thankfully for most kids attending, Santa had his red jacket on, not one of his Victorian Green or Blue Santa Suits on. We annoyingly did not get to see the live entertainment that took place outside, that finished early, due to the weather, but we are told that it went down extremely well with all who braved the elements to attend.  If you missed this event, do not forget that Churchtown Village Lights will be Switched On, on Sunday, 26 November 2023.

Southport's Christmas Decorations Go Up

SOUTHPORT'S Christmas Lights have been put up again by local Illumidex UK Ltd, who are based in Burscough. Both Directors, Jane and Steve Clayton are pictured on here along with the team assibilating one of the new lighting attractions, located outside the Atkinson, on Lord Street.  What are your thoughts about this years Christmas Lights that are now illuminating the Town Centre?
