Churchtown Christmas Light Switch On 2023

THIS Churchtown Christmas Lights Switch On was amazing this year. It was bigger and better than in previous years, with so much to see and do. Considering this was put on by just 2 main organisers, Dot Howell and Dorothy Mae, who are the owners of a salon on Botanic Road in Churchtown, this event just shows what small businesses and a supportive local community can achieve. It was a real pleasure to have been to this event, that was held on Sunday, 26 November 2023, as it was so friendly, everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves. This years Christmas Tree lights were kindly donated by J A Jones Nurseries, as you can see, they were switched on by Father Christmas, along with the main stage host, Hayley Murray, from Dune Radio, along with Queenscourt Hospice's Queenie Bee, plus others as you can see on our video clip below...
