Purple Rain Lounge host Heat 2 of their 'Battle Of The Bands' 2024

WITH Storm Isha blowing hard around the UK, in Southport we popped into Purple Rain Lounge, on Queen Anne Street, in Southport, Merseyside, to sample the warm atmosphere and hear the bands performing in Heat 2 of the venues:- "Battle Of The Bands."  This was the 2nd night of the 3:- 'Battle Of The Band Heats,' with the final Heat to be held on:- 28 January 2024. Each heat sees the audience's favourite bands going through to the Finals, that is due to take place on:- 9 February 2024.

Despite 1 band being unable to attend, due to the weather, it was yet again a lively night inside, and if the wind on:- 23 January 2024, didn't blow the Sunday Night's cobwebs away, the music would have.  This night, hosted by Captain Kenny Legs, and The Bendy Boys, was just as good as the previous Heat, with a very interesting mix of musical styles. As in Heat 1, all of those performing where extremely entertaining.

If you don't already know, you can only vote on the night, and only cast your vote if you attend the event. At stake for the bands is a chance to win £500 prize, plus 2 days studio time at top level recording studio.

Taking to the sage for for the 2nd Heat was:-

• Dinosaur Feet.
  

• Smiley Devils.
  

• The Violets.
