Liverpool City Region Mayoral Elections 2024

THE Liverpool City Region Mayoral Elections concluded with a clear win for Steve Rotherham who has been re-elected, getting:- 183,932 votes.



This was a clear win for Steve Rotherham. This is his 3rd successive win, making Labour the only party to have held the role since he was 1st elected in 2017.

Liverpool City Region Mayoral Elections results are as follows:-

  • Steve Rotherham (Labour)
     

  • Jade Marsden (Conservative) getting 27,708 votes.
     

  • Tom Crone (Green) 26,417 votes.
     

  • Rob McAllister-Bell (Liberal Democrats) getting 21,366 votes.
     

  • Ian Smith (Independent) taking 11,032 votes.

This was a very low turnout of 23.2%.

Merseyside Police And Crime Commissioner (PCC) Elections 2024 Results

ON 4 May 2024, Labour and Co-operative Party Emily Elizabeth Spurrell was re-elected Merseyside Police And Crime Commissioner (PCC) for a second time with 152,640 votes. A very clear win. It was not as bad as it could have been for the Conservatives who are taking a battering across the UK, with their candidate Robert Teesdale (Teesdale Bob) receiving 35,221 votes. Amanda Onwuemene MSc who stood for the Green Party received:- 31,330 votes and surpisingly Liberal Democrats Christopher David Carubia took:- 28,093 votes.



This year there was a high number of rejected ballot papers:- 4,316 in total.
