Classic Car & Motorcycle Transport Fundraising Event

THE Southport Auto Centre's annual fundraiser, the Classic Car & Motorcycle Transport Fundraising Event, was held on:- 22 June 2024, at the Volvo specialists garage, on:- Wright Street, next to Southport College.

The garage this year was raising funds for the amazing Southport Macmillan Information and Support Centre. This years event had a wide range vehicles taking part as well as entertainment from local radio station, Mighty, along with Mighty The Mascot.

The activities on offer included Vintage Fire Engine Rides, along with a raffle that raised lots of money thanks to many local businesses donating items to it.

We are told by many of those attending event on the day that this was a friendly and thoroughly enjoyable day. Sadly, we only got to see that last hour, but we also found it a very interesting event. Well done to all who took part in yet another successful at this local garage.

Southport Auto Centre said they greatly appreciated all the support on the day and in the run up to this years show. A statement with the full amount raised will be added to the firm's Facebook Page very soon.
