Huge Battle of the Bands event for the homeless this July

A huge Battle Of The Bands style event for the Whitechapel Centre is taking place at:- Camp and Furnace, located in The Baltic Triangle, Liverpool City Centre, on:- Saturday, 20 July 2024! The incredible showcase will see 25 of the region's most talented artists compete against each other; with celebrity judges and an audience voting system deciding the winner.

Primal Live starts at 5pm; with 5 heats of 5 artists and the winner of each one going onto the Final later that evening. Celebrity judges:- Jake O'Neill of The Voice UK, Lauren McQueen of Hollyoaks and Country legend Ethan Allen will be providing feedback prior to the audience voting via a dedicated app, whilst there'll be huge raffles with top prizes to be won!

For fans of The Voice and The X Factor, this event is a must as a diverse range of supremely talented artists will be on display; from dazzling female vocal artists to loop pedal maestros. A fun and interactive showcase, the audience gets to hear the celebrity judges' feedback before voting for the winner of each heat and also the Final at the end.

   

The inaugural Primal Live event is taking place at the mighty Camp and Furnace and is being hosted by Andy Sampson and the team at Primal Events. Having organised countless Corporate and Charity boxing events over the years, the team have a big charity ethos and occasionally host big charity events such as this.

Founder Andy said:- "We've hosted literally hundreds of events around the world, mostly boxing events, and hosting big charity ones is an important part of what we do. Primal Live is the first showcase of its kind that we're putting on and we're really excited about it; to bring so many top musicians together for such a great cause and have amazing celebrity judges on board is really special. Homelessness is a big and growing problem in our city and the Whitechapel Centre do great work to bridge the gap. Through ticket sales and the huge raffles on the night we aim to raise thousands for their work providing shelter, essentials and support for those who are destitute. What's not to love about this event? A fun, interactive event with top entertainment for an amazing cause!"

Competitors will be hoping it may lead to the same kind of success as celebrity judge Jake O'Neill; the Liverpool busker who went on to greatness on The Voice UK! The event is a great opportunity for the artists, whilst raising money for a charity that does vital work in the city.

Performers on the night will include:- Kahli Morris, Junior Dayvis, Emma Wharton, Danielle Kasek, Jamie Higgs, Noa Marie, Rebecca Morris, Jessie L, Giorgia Bortoli, Erin May, Zoe Fegan, Jordan Francis, Cody Ann, Yasmin Chilton, Maddie Allen, Imogen Buron, JP Cumberlidge, Sam Mercer, Kelly Cresswell, Rhi B, Reillo, Harmonizer X, Molly Doyle-Milsom, Ava Fitz and Sam Leyden.

Hays Travel invites customers to 'spin it to win it' in Big Wheel challenge

HAYS Travel is putting branch visitors in a spin this summer, as a posse of seven-foot-high big wheels tour 115 of the nation’s favourite travel agent’s branches around the UK.

The latest Hays Travel branches to welcome the Big Wheel challenge between:- 4 July and 10 July 2024, are:- Blackpool, Preston, Southport, Wigan, Leigh, Bury, Failsworth, Hyde, Stockton Heath, Warrington Market, Malton, Beverley, Doncaster, Gainsborough, and Retford.

No purchase is necessary to enter the competition, entrants simply scan the QR code on the wheel at their local branch, add their contact details to the online form, then spin the super sized wheel. Land and 'win' and they can receive a Hays Travel branded tote bag, sunglass, or stick of candy rock.
