Pride in Liverpool 2024

WE delayed the publication of this report due to the tragic event that took place in Southport. The annual event ran from:- Friday, 26 July 2024, to Sunday, 28 July 2024 in Pride Quarter's bars and venues, as well as on the Pier Head.

The event aims each year to support the LGBT and is always held on the closest weekend to 2 August 2024, to commemoration of the death of Michael Causer.

We attended the Liverpool Pride Parade on:- Saturday, 27 July 2024, which was the events biggest march to date.

The highly anticipated event was very well received, apart from am extremely small protest with around 8 people on St George's Place, with a few poorly worded yellow signs. Other than them, it was very popular, even with the rain shower at the start of the parade, the numbers taking part quickly grew and it led to an extremely colourful spectacle, as you can see in the footage and photos we took at this event.

The Parade, that took place on:- Saturday, 27 July 2024, was so big that it ended up being split into 3 parts. The last section of our footage shows the 1st of the 3 sections of the Parade as it arrived at the Pier Head.
