Formby Hub's Christmas Day Lunch

THE Formby Luncheon Club which is situated on Rosemary Lane, in the Center of Formby Village, for host a special Christmas dinner in Formby for anyone who might be feeling lonely on the big day.

The Formby Hub event was run by Formby Councillor Catie Page and her amazing volunteers on Christmas Day, providing a a friendly and festive atmosphere for dozens of people.

The event had a delicious Christmas meal as well as lots of activities that included a live performance by local singer Ellie, who was supported by her little sister Anne.

Formby Carol Wagon brings festive cheer

THE Rotary Club of Formby in the run up to Christmas once again provided some festive cheer to hundreds of children across Formby, with its Carol Wagon. We managed to track them down on 1 of the final nights touring the roads within the village and surrounding area. The Santa wagon not only assisting Father Christmas in his efforts to see as many children as he can, but it also raises lots of money for the charity fund, which is then use by the Lions Clubs International.
