5th Charity Christmas Tractor Run

THE Clitheroe Young Farmers 5th Charity Christmas Tractor Run was held on:- Sunday, 22 December 2024. Some representatives from the group had recently took part in Southport's Christmas events, so we are running a bit of coverage of this event was well. On behalf of the Clitheroe Young Farmers, the Chair, Meg Goring told us that:- "This year’s event was truly spectacular, with 150 tractors adorned in dazzling festive lights touring the Ribble Valley, drawing an incredible turnout from across Lancashire and the North West. Hundreds, if not thousands, of spectators lined the route to watch this unique celebration of rural life, which aims to spread Christmas cheer while raising funds for two important causes. This year, proceeds will support Clitheroe Young Farmers; a youth charity empowering individuals aged:- 10 to 28, and the Yellow Wellies Farm Safety Foundation, a vital charity dedicated to improving mental health in rural communities and promoting farm safety. We are thrilled to announce that so far, over £6,000 has been raised, with donations still pouring in. We are optimistic about matching last year’s incredible total of £10,000, thanks to the continued generosity of our supporters. Donate now:- JustGiving.Com. Thank you to everyone who participated, were a spectator, or someone who supported the event. Your enthusiasm and generosity continue to make this annual tradition such a success, and we are thrilled to have raised vital funds for our chosen charities."
