Liverpool marketing agency cuts social media prices to help local businesses thrive

A Liverpool based marketing company is making social media services more accessible than ever, giving small businesses the chance to grow without breaking the bank.

NMA Media, a leading creative agency specialising in social media management, video production and photography, is reshaping its entire business model.

Known for working with both big brands as well as popular smaller companies, the agency is cutting its fees so that more local businesses can harness the power of social media.

Nima Naseri, Managing Director of NMA Media, based in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle said:- "Social media can make or break a business. But for so many small companies, it's just too expensive to keep up. We don't want this cost to be the reason a great business struggles or gets left behind online."

Determined to level the playing field, NMA Media is taking bold steps to make high quality marketing affordable. From April 2025, it will be offering its full suite of services; including:- professional photography and video content, social media management, daily posts and stories, strategy reports, and dedicated support; for just £300 a month.

For Nima, this isn't just a business move; it's a personal decision. He says:- "Each year, I take a step back and ask myself how can I do better? How can I help more businesses? This year, the answer was clear. Small businesses are struggling. Every day I speak to owners who feel overwhelmed, who can't afford marketing they desperately need. I can change that. Why not be the company that actually does something to help?"

To make the vision a reality, NMA Media is growing its team, hiring 3 new staff members, including:- 2 full time social media executives and a content creator. The goal is to launch a new, more accessible model with 40 clients, and expand to 120 within the 1st year.

Nima admits:- "It's a risk, of course. Dropping our prices means a temporary hit in revenue. But I believe in what we do, and I believe in these businesses and in this city. If we can help more people succeed, Liverpool's business community will be stronger and, for me, that is worth more."

By cutting costs while maintaining a high quality professional service NMA Media hopes to empower more businesses to thrive; without social media marketing being yet another financial burden on their shoulders.

Nima commented:- "This isn't just about us. It's about making sure small businesses don't just survive, but flourish."

Dobbies' Southport store to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK as garden centre announces new National Charity Partner

DOBBIES' Southport store is pledging to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK as the garden centre announces its brand-new National Charity Partner. This announcement comes as the retailer marks 160 years of helping British gardeners to grow.

Dementia is the UK's biggest killer1 and right now, almost 1 million people in the UK are living with it, putting precious memories and lives at risk. This partnership with Alzheimer's Research UK will see Dobbies highlight the benefits of garden living for brain health, and through colleague and customer activity raise vital funds to support research to help find a cure for dementia.

This new partnership follows on from a successful national appeal made by Dobbies to charities across the UK. The partnership will launch from March 2025 with a year-round programme to educate on the impact of dementia and encourage donations that will fund research.

Dobbies Garden Centres' CEO, David Robinson said:- "When we were looking for a new charity partner that would be the right fit for us, and resonate with our customers, Alzheimer's Research UK stood out as an ideal choice. As well as fundraising to help research into a cure for dementia, our aim through this partnership is to inspire people to keep their brains healthy. Gardening can really help this through stimulating both body and mind, and staying connected with other people is also very important. In our Southport store we have everything needed to help people garden, and through our restaurant and events we also help bring people together. As we celebrate 160 years of helping British gardeners to grow, we're really proud to be embarking on this important new partnership."

Chief Executive Officer at Alzheimer's Research UK, Hilary Evans-Newton, said:- "Alzheimer's Research UK is incredibly excited to join forces with Dobbies. Brains are like gardens, when well-tended and looked after, they can flourish. We'll work together with Dobbies to inspire their community to protect their brain health through activities like gardening, while raising vital funds for a cure for dementia. If nothing changes, 1 in 2 of us2 will be directly affected by dementia; either by caring for someone with the condition, developing it ourselves, or both. Alzheimer's Research UK exists to change this. With Dobbies standing with us, we will speed up our progress and end the heartbreak dementia causes sooner."
