Local home care business wins prestigious award

CAREMARK (Sefton), a leading home care provider and part of the Caremark Limited national franchise network, has scooped the company's prestigious North West Regional Award. Caremark Sefton's franchisee, David Richards, who established the business in 2012, collected the award at a glittering awards ceremony, held at Heythrop Park Resort in Enstone, on Friday, 31 January 2020. The awards, which form part of Caremark's annual conference, celebrate businesses that make a difference in their Region and achieve something deserving of recognition in the preceding year. David Glover, Managing Director of Caremark Limited, said:- "David is hard working and tenacious and, as a result, he has created a caring and compliant company which makes every effort to provide an excellent social environment for clients, as well as deliver high quality care. As an active Consultative Group member, David is always looking to bring in new ideas to be the best domiciliary care provider in the market."

Caremark (Sefton), based in Southport, provides high quality home care services to older or otherwise vulnerable clients living in the town and the surrounding area, helping them to remain independent and taking the pressure off overstretched Local Hospitals. Those interested in Caremark (Sefton's Services) or would like to enquire about becoming a care and support worker can contact the business on:- 01704 563333 or via email  or visiting:- Caremark.Co.UK.  David Richards added:- "We all work hard to deliver a first-rate care service to vulnerable clients living in the Region, so I am delighted to accept this award. I'd like to give a special thanks to our Registered Manager Ruth Pye, and her outstanding team of care and support workers without them, none of this would have been possible."

Nominate your Football Club's Unsung Hero to win a New Team Strip

JUNIOR football clubs in Southport are being offered the chance to score a brand new strip, Courtesy of Local business, Recognition Express. For the 4th year running, Southport based Recognition Express has launched a competition for Under 16's teams to nominate their unsung hero and win a complete set of new football shirts, shorts and socks for the team's 2019/2020 season. Said Steve Bibby, director of Recognition Express North West:- "Our annual Unsung Heroes competition is a fantastic way to recognise those who support junior football clubs to ensure these young players reach their potential. Anyone who goes over and above for the club can be nominated; from coaches and caretakers to club secretaries and groundsmen, anyone whose selflessness and commitment allows girls and boys to enjoy football in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment."

With club sponsorship hard to come by, along with the added expense for mums and dads, Recognition Express is delighted to offer one lucky team the chance to light up their next match in a new strip, in a design of their choosing. Added Steve:- "As specialists in recognition products, promotional items and branded clothing, it makes sense for us to combine donating a new team strip to a Local junior football club whilst recognising an unsung hero. It gives us the chance to recognise the contribution these unsung heroes make and give something back to the community we serve."

Anyone can nominate a junior football club hero. The competition is open to all under 16's junior football clubs playing in Southport. To enter visit:- Recognition-Express.com and complete the simple entry form. The competition closes on:- Sunday, 5 April 2020 and the winner will be announced from:- Monday, 13 April 2020.
