Albert Docks was the start of the Ultimate Supercar Showdown convoy
TO celebrate the hit film:-
'Need For Speed', that is due for release on 21 July
2014, 6 supercars took to the roads in the UK in convoy, crossing
the country over 2 days to partake in the Ultimate Supercar
Showdown!
The event started at Liverpool's
Albert Docks, on Wednesday, 16 July 2014, then it passed through key
cities including Manchester, Birmingham and Warwickshire, with local
residents and car fans being encouraged to interact and follow the
tour as it snaked along the roads and motorways. The convoy ended in
a secret London location on Thursday, 17 July 2014.
The whereabouts of the supercars
have be documented on the @NeedForSpeed_UK Twitter, where fans have
the opportunity to vote for the car that they want to be crowned as
the winner of the 'Need for Speed Convoy'. By voting,
fans where selected at random to win DVD or Blu-ray copies of the
film, including a limited edition steelbook, and merchandise.

DVD, and available from 21 July 2014 and can be to pre-ordered now
