Witness re-appeal after bike stolen from Wigan Wallgate
BRITISH Transport Police Officers have
released new pictures and made a fresh appeal for information about the theft of
a customised mountain bike from a store cupboard at, Wigan Wallgate Station, at
around 2.30pm, on Thursday, 15 January 2015.
Police believe the men in the images, could
have vital information relating to the crime.
Officers urge anyone who recognises the men to come forward to help Police with
their enquiries.
Investigating officer PC Daniel Armstrong
said:- "The owner of the bike placed it in a store cupboard before walking
into the booking office. The cupboard was left unlocked. A man entered the
station and made straight for the store cupboard and removed the bike. He was
with 2 other men and the stolen bike was given to 1 of the other 2 who rode off
on it down King Street. The man who stole the bike then made his way to a bus
stop in front of Wigan North West Railway Station with the 3rd man. They boarded
the 600 bus at 2.36pm and got off at Golborne, possibly near ASDA."
