Appeal after bike stolen
from Moreton Station
POLICE are appealing for witnesses
after a bike was stolen from cycle racks at Moreton Railway Station. The
incident took place at around 2.10pm, on Monday, 7 December 2016.
Investigating officer PC Wendy Simpson said:- "2 men entered Moreton
station booking office from Pasture Road. They made their way down to the
West Kirby bound platform and out into the car park. 1 of the men then
approached a green and black coloured Marin mountain bike, valued at around
£600 to replace. He cut the lock off the bike and then cycled away on it out
of the car park, back onto Pasture Road."
Officers are now looking to trace the man pictured as they believe he may be
able to help with their investigation. Do you recognise him?
