Tickets Stolen
MERSEYSIDE Police Detectives have
released CCTV of 3 men they wish to trace following a theft in Liverpool City
Centre on Friday, 13 May 2016. Officers were called at around 3.30pm to reports
2 men had entered the Liverpool Football Club Office, on Chapel Street,
Liverpool, 1 stealing a quantity of Europa League Cup Final Tickets. The pair,
who were joined by a 3rd man, then made off in the direction of Water Street.
Detectives have released CCTV of 3 men they wish to trace as they believe they
could assist with their enquiries and officers would urge them or anyone who
recognises them to get in contact. Chief Superintendent Jon Ward said:-
"As well as urging anyone who has any information about this incident to come
forward, I would also like to take the opportunity to remind Liverpool fans not
to buy tickets from unofficial sources. The force understands the stolen tickets
are no longer valid and will not provide access to the stadium. Anyone who
travels to the stadium in Basel with counterfeit or stolen tickets, won't be
allowed access; they will be removed and may even be subject to arrest. All
tickets have now been removed from this City Centre Office." Anyone who

Cup Final will see Liverpool playing against Sevilla in Switzerland, on
Wednesday, 18 May 2016.
