OVER the last week or so, Mr World 2016
has been holding build up events in Southport, ready for the main event in
Southport's Southport Theatre and Convention Centre. Many of you will have seen
Christopher Bramell, who is Mr England, out and about, as he is from
Liverpool... But how many of you spotted the other lads? Chris Bramell, told the
BBC that the whole concept was not just about being "eye candy."
That was echoed by all the lads who have been battling it out, over 5 heats,
which included an extreme and sports challenge, style and fashion, as well as
cooking contest! In total, the competition this year has attracted over 40
countries, all of who have had representatives in ort seaside resort, Southport
over the last week or so.
This amazing international competition aims to not only promote
good male role models for future generations to look up to, but also to build up
cross cultural relationships. That is something, we can see is very true about
this competition, and it appears to be extremely successful at it as well. With
the final held on 19 July 2016, all the lads have been working extremely hard,
and we are shocked to see what they have to do to just put the show on,
throughout all the rounds! We had the privilege of being able to do an informal
video interview with a few of the contestants on the eve of the Finals. You can
see the interview on our YouTube Channel or on
here now!
