Man charged with attempted murder after an incident in Southport
MERSEYSIDE Police have charged Ryan
Quigley, 22, from Southport, with attempted murder following an incident in
Southport on Saturday, 4 March, in which a 19 year old woman suffered a facial
injury.
We are told that the incident which occurred at around 11.30am, on a footbridge
off Marine Parade in Southport. A knife was recovered close to the scene and has
been seized for forensic enquiries.
Detectives are keen to get the details of a man and woman who found the knife,
via asking them to call:- (0151) 777 3075.
Detective Sergeant Tony O'Brien said:- "We are looking to
identify and confirm the details of a man and woman who located the weapon on
Saturday close to Marine Parade; in addition to anyone else who witnessed the
incident, as we know that members of the public were close by. Your details
could be vital in the investigation."
Quigley has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court, on
Monday, 3 April 2017.

time, who may have information which could assist them with the investigation,
