Gas
Attack
There is an
appeal
for information
to
the public after
a robbery at Kwik-Save on Fylde Road According to Merseyside
Police.
The attack
happened at 3.34pm on Friday the 12th of April and involved
the use of incapacitant gas on the guard's face. he
was transferring money from the Kwik-Save store to his armored
Transit van, when he was attacked from behind and
had the gas sprayed into his face.
The
perpetrator then got into a dark gray gun-metal coloured
Vauxhall Corsa, Registration Number:- M68 PFR, which had
been parked in the car park, and was driven by a second
offender. The car was later found abandoned on Water
Lane in Banks.
The guard
was taken to hospital and treated for minor inhalation
injuries from the gas.
